Quotidian Dialysis (2002-current)

International Registry of Quotidian Dialysis application, a joint collaboration between NIH which includes the United States National Institute of Diabetes & Digestive & Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), the International Society for Haemodialysis (ISHD) and the Lawson Health Research Institute (LHRI).

The engineering of this cutting edge technology began in 1999 and was the first endorsed by the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) as conforming to the strict new privacy legislations. The diagram below represents the simple design of the International Registry of Quotidian Dialysis, using one of the first commercial applications of the technology, which started in 2002. The registry is currently operational in 4 countries.
